And just like that, the cross country season has come to an end. Although there is no more racing in Arkansas, we still have some business to take care of - it is time to crown this week's Milesplit Arkansas Boys Runner of the Week!
Emma Fowlkes won last week's award following her victory at the 5A Central Conference Championships. The freshman from Vilonia raced to a 19:46.56 and 92 second victory against a field of 52 runners. Fowlkes finished the season with the 7th fastest time run in Arkansas this season, which ranked 2nd among freshman.
