Mountain Home Relays Move to the Top of AR Rankings

Good Friday was a great Friday for the Mountain Home relay teams. The Bombers moved to the top of the Arkansas rankings in the 4x800m  and the 4x400m. It started with the 4x800m where Levi Payne, Jackson Free, Trenton Smith, and Garrett Barr ran the fastest time in state this year--8:06.

That is a fast time for this early in the season and it has the senior laden Bombers eyeing some big goals over the next month. According to the MileSplit Arkansas data base, the school record is 7:46 set t the Arkansas Meet of Champions in 2022. That performance is No. 2 all time in the state behind Bentonville's 4x800 performance last year at the Kansas Relays.
