FAYETTEVILLE -- Against a talented field the LSU men\'s cross country team posted an eighth-place finish Saturday morning at the Chile Pepper Festival, while the women placed 17th overall at the Agri Park Cross Country Course.

In its last meet before the Atlantic 10 Championship, the University of Richmond men\'s and women\'s cross country teams competed at the Arkansas Chili Pepper Festival on Saturday. Facing several of the top teams in the nation, the Richmond women\'s team finished 14th in the 33-team field, while the men\'s team took 19th out 29 teams. Richmond senior John Ciccarelli (South Bury, Conn.) finished in 26th out of 241 collegiate runners, completing the 10K in a time of 30:01.9. On the women\'s side, freshman Katie Van Horn (Glendora, N.J.) took 44th out of 299 runners, finishing the 6K in 22:07.2.
