March 10, 2006 FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Washington\'s track and field teams went a perfect three-for-three Friday at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., with each of the team\'s six competitors -- including hurdler Ashley Lodree and jumper Norris Frederick, and the men\'s distance medley relay team -- earning All-America honors on the first of two days of competition at Arkansas\' Randal Tyson Track Center.

March 11, 2006 FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Washington\'s 4x400-meter relay broke a school record and earned a stunning third-place finish Saturday at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Fayetteville, Ark., bringing the team\'s two-day All-American total to a UW-record nine, and carrying Washington to its best NCAA Championships team finish since 2001. The UW men\'s nine All-America honors shattered the team\'s single-meet record of seven set three times previously, most recently in 1998. Furthermore, the 10 All-America honors earned by both Husky squads at the two-day meet tied a UW record set just last year; prior to 2005, no Husky team had ever earned more than nine All-America honors at a single meet. The third-place relay finish, combined with the distance medley relay\'s fifth-place effort Friday, helped the UW men finish in a tie for 19th overall with 10 points. The finish was the UW\'s highest at the NCAA Indoor meet since 2001, and marked the fifth time in the last seven years that the UW men have placed among the top-25. Host Arkansas scored 53 points to win the NCAA indoor men\'s crown for the 19th time in 23 years, edging LSU\'s 45 points, while Texas scored 51 to win easily over second-place Stanford (36). Tigers Posts Runner-Up Finish at NCAA\'s; Lady Tigers 7th Mar 12, 2006

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- A win in the 400 meters by sophomore Xavier Carter and a sweep of the meet\'s 4x400-meter relay titles capped an impressive weekend of performances for the LSU track and field team at the NCAA Indoor Championships, as the men finish second and the women placed seventh Saturday evening at the Randal Tyson Track Center.

Tomika Ferguson Earns All-American Honors at NCAA Track & Field Championships Mar 11, 2006

Virginia\'s Tomika Ferguson, the school-record holder in the triple jump, broke her own school record in the NCAA Championships to earn sixth place at the nationals and earn All-American honors. It is the first All-American honor of her career and the first for a Cavalier horizontal jumper since 2003. Ferguson\'s leap bested her own mark by 12 cm (4.75\").

Kellman Finishes Second at NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships Mar 11, 2006

George Mason University senior Marc Kellman (Coram, N.Y./Longwood/West Virginia University) placed second in the triple jump with a leap of 16.43 meters (53 ft. 11 in.) at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville, Ark. The mark is a new personal record for Kellman, topping his previous high of 16.21 meters (53 ft. 2

Hampton\'s Lewis wins NCAA title in TJ Mar 11, 2006

Hampton University sophomore Yvette Lewis won the NCAA national title in the triple jump on Saturday at the University of Arkansas\' Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas, while senior teammate Kellie Wells earned All-American honors with a sixth place finish in the 60 meter hurdles. The former Menchville High School star Lewis had the top mark in the nation coming in and came out as the top triple jumper in the event with a best mark of 45\'1.50\". Meanwhile, James River High graduate Wells posted a time of 8.08 in the finals of the 60 meter hurdles to finish sixth.
