2016 NWACC Track and Field Conference Championships
Hosted by Rogers & Heritage High school
Date: Monday, April 18, 2016
Place: Rogers High School, Whitey Smith Stadium
Times: Coaches meeting at 3:00 in the hospitality room
Field events start at 3:30
4x800 relay will start at 4pm All other running events will start at 5:00
Awards: Championship and runner-up trophies will be awarded to the top two teams in each division.
Ribbons will be awarded for 1st 8th place finishers for both divisions.
Entries: 4 entries per individual event, 1 entry per relay event.
All entries are to be entered on ar.milesplit.com
Teams: Teams can use the East bleachers to set up team camps.
Concessions: There will be concessions and restrooms available for all participants and spectators.
T-Shirts: Foxy Tees will be selling shirts close to the concessions stand.
Track: The east gates will be used to enter and leave the competition area. Only athletes warming up for their events should be on the infield in the designated warmup area.
Deadlines: Entries are due by 2:00 pm (April 18, 2016). All entries will be done on ar.milesplit.com
Scratches: Scratches only after 2:00 pm. They will be made with Coach Yurwitz in the press box.
Buses: Buses can use the parking lot closest to the east side of the stadium.
Directions: The school is located on 2300 S. Dixieland, Rogers, Ar 72758
Weather: If there is inclement weather, we will make a decision by 1:00 and send out an email. Make-up date will Wednesday, April 20th

Order of Events for a Track Meet
Field Events
3:30 start time.
There will be prelims/finals in the long jump, triple jump, shot and disc. Athletes will be given 3 jumps/throws to make finals and the top 9 will return for finals. Top 8 will be score. There will be scratch lines for each field event. The scratch lines are based upon results from the past three meets.
Only athletes competing in field events need to be on the infield. A coaches box will be provided Pole Vault area ONLY (1 coach per team). All other Coaches and Athletes need to be off the infield.
High Jump Boys (opening height, 410) followed by girls (opening height, 310)
Pole Vault Girls (opening height, 6 0) followed by boys (opening height, 76)
Long Jump Girls followed by boys -- scratch line girls 126 boys 156
Triple Jump Boys followed by girls -- scratch line girls 24 boys 33
Shot Boys followed by girls -- scratch line girls 25 boys 35
