Meet Information
Dear Coach,
You are invited to the 40th annual Lake Hamilton Invitational (for Jr. Boys & Jr. Girls) to be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021. We will be allowing no more than 7 teams to enter the meet. There will be measures taken during the events of the meet to help maintain social distancing. Lake Hamilton will have an A, B, C, and D team competing.
The field events will begin at 3:30 P.M., and the 4 x 800 relay will begin at 4:00 P.M., and the remaining running events will begin at 5:15 P.M.
We will have a fast heat and slow heat in all the individual sprint events. The entry fee will be $60 per boys team, and $60 per girls team, $120 total for both. Individuals may enter for a $20 entry fee per athlete. This entry fee will go to meet administrative expenses for the meet. Your entry fee should be paid upon arrival to the meet.
We are requiring that your athletes use one inch (or less) pyramid spikes. Pyramid 3/16 inch (5mm) or less will also be allowed. No needle-nosed spikes or otherwise very sharp spikes will be allowed. Some inch spikes will not be allowed. For example the steel-ex brand of spikes and Nike 7mm length spikes will not be allowed. We will have a spike check at the beginning of the meet and spikes must be marked in order to compete. We ask that you make sure your athletes are using the proper spikes when you arrive at our meet so we can take care of our facility.
We plan to award medals for first place in each event, plus ribbons through eighth in the individual events and 2nd through 3rd in the relays. The winner in both the boys and girls division will receive trophies.
You may enter three athletes in each individual event and one relay team. Registration will be done online at ar.milesplit.com and entries are due by Noon on April 12th.
This is an invitational only meet and the field of entries will be limited, so please let us know as soon as possible if you would like to enter so we can provide you with the password.
