Ozark Catholic ran away with the 1A state title last season, beating second-place by 80 points. That spells good news for a team that graduated just one member from their top 6 from a year ago.
Isaac Pohlmeier led the way, running a 16:31.04 en route to his second straight cross country championship. Joey Squillace and Ben Frederick are both back as well and finished inside the top 10.
Ozark Catholic is not only returning the fastest team in 1A this season but one of the fastest in the state that could be a threat to knock off some powerhouse programs throughout the season.
