The Bulldogs have some work to do if they want to chase down Bentonville in 6A, but showed enough yesterday that they could finish as the second team on the podium this November.

Similar to the Bentonville girls, this new look Bulldog girl squad impressed in Southlake this weekend. Fayetteville was the top school not from Texas, which should give this team a lot of confidence going into next week's race at the Elkins Invitational.

The Bulldogs were led by a pair of freshman, Annie Cornett and Lily Goodwin, who both finished inside the top 50. Alice Travis, another freshman, was the fifth scorer for Fayetteville.
