We saw five freshmen boys run sub-17 last year and with a strong senior class out the door and graduated, this group of rising sophomores has a chance to make a real name for themselves this season.
Carson Walker led the way for the freshman class last fall, running 16:27.40 at 5A West Conference and was closely followed by Jack Whatley, Ryker Thompson, and Jonah Pate - each of whom finished the season strong.
