Carole Werner (Greenwood) finishes runner-up at the 2022 Arkansas 5A state meet
Carole Werner came up big in the big meets. She won the Chile Pepper Festival Open Girls race and was second at the Arkansas 5A state meet. All of that in just her sophomore year.
With Olivia Pielemeier (Lake Hamilton) graduating, she is the top returner from the 5A state meet as well as the state's top junior. She leads nine girls under 20-minutes from the class of 2025.
