Jackson Free made a huge impact in his first race at Mountain Home.
Against a field of 500 runners, the junior transfer from West Plains in Missouri finished 3rd, setting an AR #4 and new personal best time of 15:41.88 - the second time he has run under 16:00 in his cross country career.
Free led the Bombers to a 3rd place finish missing out on 1st by just six points. His teammates Connor King and Garrett Barr also finished inside the top 10.
