Eva Orr picked up right where she left off last season.
The junior from Heber Springs started her indoor season at the Galleria Games last month, winning the weight throw and finishing 2nd in the shot put. Orr followed that up with two more strong performances over the weekend in Nashville, Tennessee at the KYA HS Indoor Classic.
Orr set a new personal best in the weight throw en route to her third consecutive indoor victory dating back to last season after finishing 2nd in this event last year.
In the shot put, Orr was dominant, winning by 2 feet and once again avenging her second-place finish from a year ago.
Orr is currently ranked 2nd in Arkansas in the shot put and weight throw disciplines. As the season rolls on, keep your eye on Orr as she chases a third 4A state championship.
