It was a great day for the boys and girls from Harding Academy on Saturday.
In the girls race, the Wildcats filled the top of the results finishing 3-4-5-6 at the Bison XC Invitational.
Last season's 3A state champion Elle Williamson led the way in 3rd, running a 20:44.13. Anna Stone was not far behind in 4th, running a 21:15.83, while Emily Earley and Lauren Pullen joined in on the fun, finishing 5th and 6th. Katie-Marie Brooks rounded out the team's top 5.
Harding Academy picked up their first win of the season, scoring 43 points, taking down Bryant, a team they beat by just one point a week ago at the Little Rock XC Classic.
In the boys race, Rocky Stone finished 3rd and set a new personal best time of 16:31.16. The senior finished 2nd at the 3A state championships last season and could be one of the few contenders to win it in November. Senior Jackson Daugherty also made his cross country debut for the Wildcats on Saturday, finishing 67th.
