They don't stop winning.
It was another beautiful day for racing at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Saturday and the girls from Rogers took full advantage, winning the one of the most competitive meets in Arkansas.
Lilly Beshears was nothing short of spectacular. En route to winning the 36th annual girls race, the junior also set a new AR #1 and US #5 time of 16:40.4.
Samantha Schmersahl came in next for the Mounties in 15th, running a 18:14.5. Elizabeth Scudder, Katherine Scudder, and Anna Scudder rounded out the top 5 for the girls, while all finishing inside the top 40 and running 19:00 or faster.
Malayla Johnson, who finished 49th, and Hattie Ray Beshears finished the team scoring for the team.
Rogers scored 98 points and took down two of the best schools from Oklahoma in the process - Piedmont and Owasso.
Even in the abscense of one of their top runners, Kayla Eggers, the team flexed their muscles on a national stage and have positioned themselves to climb the national rankings even further.
Congratulations to the girls from Rogers!
