This Week's Nominees:
Noah Stack, Lake Hamilton High School (Arkansas): Clocked a state-leading 10.72 in the 100 meters at the Hot Springs Lakeside Ram Merchant Relays, breaking his PR of 10.83 set in April. He also leads Arkansas in the pole vault this season with his earlier mark of 16-0.75, clearing 16-0 at this meet for the win.
Samario Hibbler, Russellville High School (Arkansas): Posted a state-leading 47-9 in the triple jump at the Van Buren Field Event Festival, improving from his previous PR of 46-7 set in March. The mark puts him atop the state leaderboard and makes him the top junior in Arkansas.
Ethan Dunn, Ft. Smith Southside High School (Arkansas): Threw 54-4.75 in the shot put to win at the Van Buren Field Event Festival, a new PR that improved from 52-8.5 and moved him to #2 in the state. He defeated #9-ranked Colin Gibson in the process.
Colin Gibson, Bentonville West (Arkansas): Won the discus with a throw of 161-1 at the Van Buren Field Event Festival, breaking his PR of 160-11 and moving to #2 in the state. He also placed third in the shot put with a 46-9 effort.
Ethan Kantner, Bryant High School (Arkansas): Ran 49.23 to win the 400 meters at the Benton High School Invitational, a new PR that improved from 49.66 set in February. The time ranks #2 in Arkansas and makes him the top junior in the state.
