Course Preview:
*Teams competing on thursday can preview the course starting at 10:00 a.m. on wednesday and all teams must be off the infield by 4:30 p.m. wednesday evening as the entrance gate will be closed at that time.
*Teams competing on friday can preview the course on thursday starting at 3:15 p.m. after the last race of Day 1 is over. You will not be allowed in until 3:15 p.m. and if any racing is still taking place, you are asked to stay off the course for a preview until they are finished. You must be off the infield by 4:30 p.m. as the entrance will be closed at that time.

Parking:

 *Team School Buses will unload and park in the North Parking Lot across from First Baptist Church.

*Fan Parking is in 2 locations: South side of First Baptist Church and the West Parking lot at Oaklawn Racing & Casino will be available as well. Fans parking in the West Parking lot will walk down the sidewalk in front of Oaklawn Racing & Casino and enter through North gate entrance across from First Baptist Church.

 Entrance to the Infield and Exit from the infield:

*Teams will enter through the North Gate entrance to the infield in North Parking lot across from First Baptist Church.

*Fans/Spectators will enter through the North Gate entrance to the infield in North Parking lot across from First Baptist Church. 

*After teams are finished with their competitions and awards ceremony, they are to exit through the underground tunnel that is across from the Gazebo with the horse.

*Fans/Spectators are to exit through the underground tunnel that is across from the Gazebo with the horse. The exception to this will be for handicapped individuals that may need to exit back through the North gate entrance.

*Teams and Fans cannot be allowed to enter the infield prior to your classifications schedule to be on the infield. This is to follow Oaklawn's Covid guideline policy for number of persons on the infield at one time. The North Entrance gate across from First Baptist Church will be opened at the following times for teams and fans to enter for the following classifications:

Team Camp Assignments on the Gazebo infield:

*All teams need to pick up a team camp assignment handout at the entrance from the gate keepers. Each team will set up their team camp on the infield at the designated location. Your location will have a white post with a number on it and it is at this location that you will set up your team camp on the infield. This is to follow Covid guidelines for Oaklawn Racing & Casino.

Packet/Chip Pick-up & Chip return:

*Teams can pick up their race packets with race chips and coaches instructions at the Horse statue Gazebo in the middle of the team camp infield.

*Following races, runners report back to your team camp and coaches are responsible for the removal of chips and returning of the chips.

*All race chips are to be returned and accounted for. Turn them back in to the Packet/Chip table at the Horse statue Gazebo on the infield.

Coaches/Runners/Fans on the infield:

*Anyone who is not warming up, racing, or cooling down should be wearing a mask on the infield. This goes for on the actual course and also in the team tent areas.

*Please encourage your fans to follow the guidelines of Oaklawn Racing & Casino by telling them to wear masks on the infield. Failure to follow these guidelines can result in the fan or fans being asked to leave the meet.

Starting of Races:

*Each school competing with be assigned a starting box on the starting line. This will be enforced.

*Box numbers can be picked up at the Gazebo with your Packets/Chips.

*Races will be started in a traditional fashion and athletes are asked to remain masked up until the final instructions are given by the race starter which at that time runners need to remove masks for the race.

After each Race:

*Water will not be provided for teams, each team will need to supply runners with their own water or sports beverages.

*Reminder as stated previously, runners report back to team camps and coaches are responsible for the removal of chips and returning the chips to the Gazebo registration table.

Chip Timing and Live Results:

*Jim Yurwitz of Ytiming.net will be handling the chip timing and scoring. Live updates will be available on ytiming.net for each race.

*If you have a runner who loses a chip during the race or a runner who's chip did not read across the finish, please report immediately to the timing trailer and bring this to the attention of Mr. Yurwitz so he can have your runner inserted into the results.

All six classifications will be live streamed on MileSplit. Links for the live stream will be available on the day of the race on ArMileSplit.com and on ArMileSplit's Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook sites
Awards:
Awards are going to follow a social distance style. If you do not have an athlete medaling or a team receiving a State or State-Runner Up trophy you are asked to leave the infield with your teams as soon as possible after your races are over. Runners receiving a medal will be announced and brought up to the gazebo steps like in the past but will be spaced out more. Also, teams receiving trophies only 1 person can come up to receive the trophy and get a photo with the sponsorship banner. After receiving medals and team trophies, you are asked to leave the infield immediately so that the next classification can be allowed in.
