COURSE  PREVIEW FOR TEAMS
1. Park in the North parking lot across from First Baptist Church and walk across the track onto the infield.
2. Be prompt on your course preview, get in and out as soon as you can.
3. Do not tamper with course poles, ribbons, get on the dirt track, or be around the edge of the ponds!!!
4. The restrooms in the concession buildings are open to use if you need a restroom while previewing.
5. List of preview times are listed below.


Wednesday: 
-the course will be open on wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. for course preview, at 6:15 p.m. teams need to be out.


Thursday:
-the course will be open on thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for course preview, at 5:30 p.m. teams need to be out.



State Cross Country Ticket Information/GoFan Information

General Tournament Information:

IMPORTANT: Tickets will be redeemed on-site by tournament "ticket takers", so it is important that they are not redeemed before then. Please pass this information along to your coaches, staff, and parents.

Tickets are $6.

Admission should be charged for ages 5 and up.

Only the current year AAA passes and lifetime AAA passes will be accepted. No conference/district passes should be accepted. AAA PASSES ONLY. Please check picture IDs at the pass gate.

Each pass admits 2 people only - the cardholder and one guest.

Those attending the State meet and purchasing tickets online, the following link should be easy to use. Put "Lake Hamilton" into the search bar and then it should allow you to purchase tickets.

-you will present your online ticket to gate keepers at the North gate entrance across from First Baptist Church when entering.

Parking on Thursday and Friday

Team Parking:

School Buses will unload and park in the North Parking Lot across from First Baptist Church.

Fan Parking:

Parking is in 2 locations:
Spectator parking will be limited this year.

Lots across from Oaklawn are usable, (Bell Plural, Alpine St.) after that spectators have to find somewhere else along Central Avenue to park. North parking lot is for buses only, casino parking is for Oaklawn patrons, there will be no parking this time at First Baptist Church.

Handicapped or elderly can be dropped off in the North parking lot at the gate entrance, no spectator parking at all in the North parking lot.

Entrance to the Infield and Exit from the infield:

*Teams will enter through the North Gate entrance to the infield in the North Parking lot across from First Baptist Church.

*Fans/Spectators will enter through the North Gate entrance to the infield in the North Parking lot across from First Baptist Church. The Gate fee per fan coming in to watch by the Arkansas Activities Association is $6 per person paid to the gatekeepers at the North entrance. (see the link above for purchasing tickets)

*After teams are finished with their competitions and awards ceremony, they are to exit through the underground tunnel that is across from the Gazebo with the horse. 

*Fans/Spectators are to exit through the underground tunnel that is across from the Gazebo with the horse. The exception to exiting this way will be for handicapped individuals or elderly that may need to exit back through the North gate entrance.



Team Camps on the Gazebo infield:

*Teams can set up team camps anywhere on the fenced-in infield where the horse gazebo is located at except for directly underneath the trees, stay away from the trees due to inground electrical lighting.

*Do not allow your athletes to climb in the trees. Keep athletes away from the inground lights around the trees.

Packet/Chip Pick-up:

*Teams can pick up their race packets with race bibs and coaches instructions at the Horse statue Gazebo in the middle of the team camp infield.

Restrooms:

*Restrooms for runners and spectators are available in each of the 3 green concession stand buildings now. Each building has a mens and womens side restroom. You can find these toward the east side of the buildings.

*Porta Potties will also be available on the infield as well.

After Races:

*The chips this year are attached to the bib and are disposable. There is no removing chips after races.

*We will not be available to provide water cups at the end of races at this time, if your teams need additional water, water is available for water coolers using the water hose spickets on the side of the concession stand buildings.

Concessions:

*There will be concessions in the middle green concession building closest to the course.

Starting of Races:

*Each school competing with be assigned a starting box on the starting line. This will be enforced.

*Box numbers can be picked up at the Gazebo with your Packets/Chips.



Chip Timing and Live Results:

*Jim Yurwitz of Ytiming.net will be handling the chip timing and scoring. Live updates will be available on ytiming.net for each race.

*If you have a runner whose chip did not read across the finish, please report immediately to the timing trailer and bring this to the attention of Jim Yurwitz and Y Timing so he can have your runner inserted into the results.

Awards:

If you do not have an athlete medaling or a team receiving a State or State-Runner Up trophy you are asked to leave the infield with your teams as soon as possible after your races are over. Awards presentation after each classification's boys and girls races which includes individual, team Runner-up, and team Champion trophies will be presented at the awards at the Horse Gazebo statue. Following awards, please exit as soon as possible to make room for the next classification coming in for the meet.

MEDICAL CARE:
*Reminder that medical care individuals at the meet will not tape athletes, coaches are responsible for this themselves!!!
*There will be medical care responders located at the Horse Gazebo, at various locations along the course, and finish line. 
*If any runner or spectator requires medical assistance, there will be a medical care responder nearby that can be able to assist.
