Girls compete at the 2022 Chile Pepper Inv.

It's only been a couple of weeks of running for the Arkansas cross country season, but the times are already low.
At this point in the season, there are already five girls who have sub nineteen-minute 5,000m performances on record.
It's not really a surprise that Bentonville senior and the reigning defending state champion Haley Loewe is one of them. She opened up with a 18:29 last weekend in Denton, Texas. Additionally, Lilly Beshears (Rogers) at 18:42, Zoe Williamson, (Harding Academy) at 18:48, Gabbie Bishop (Providence classical Christian Academy) at 18:51, and Rogers freshman Kayla Eggers rounds out that top-five of sub nineteen-minute runners.
Check out the list to see how fast the rest of the Arkansas girls already are at 5,000m.
