Tessa Sliverthorn (Brookland) clocked 12.93 in the girls' 100 meters at the 4A Region 3 Jr High Conference Meet on April 21, lowering her previous mark of 13.62. The time ranks #69 in Arkansas and earned her first place among eight competitors, and she also set a personal record in the long jump with 16-8, improving from 15-9.
